Jamie Lee Curtis Slams Fiji Water Girl & Golden Globes

Jamie Lee Curtis is not here for the Fiji water girl.

Days after Wilhelmina model Kelleth Cuthbert photobombed some of the hottest stars at the 2019 Golden Globes, the actress fired back to shame her and the event organizers.

“So, my husband, who doesn’t look at a lot of show business news sites, just mentioned that I was on the CNN website,” started Curtis, 60, on Instagram, sharing a photo of her posing on the red carpet with Cuthbert standing slyly behind her.

“I specifically moved away from the blatant promotions by Fiji and Moet where young women with their trays filled with their wares stood near a designated camera,” she continued.

Curtis shared a screenshot from the CNN website which showed the photo of her with Cuthbert above a caption that read: “Jamie Lee Curtis was in danger of being upstaged by the Fiji Water girl.” And though she didn’t realize at the moment that she was being photobombed by a young up-and-comer, the Hollywood veteran is certainly not happy.

“I knew why there was a photographer poised there and I moved away as I said out loud that I didn’t want to be doing advertising for either. Clearly this angle shows that I moved from her being behind me and yet from the side it still happens. The sponsors of events need to get permission from people when they get them to take their picture next to products,” concluded an angry Curtis.
