Amazon Great Indian sale to begin from 20 January, Prime members get early access- Technology News, Firstpost


Amazon is all set to host its popular ‘Great Indian Sale’ next week. The leading e-retailer will open the New Year’s first season sale on 20 January and it will continue till 23 January. Amazon mentioned that during the four-day sale, consumers will be able to grab discounts on a wide range of products across hundreds of categories. Moreover, Prime members will be getting 12 hours early access starting 12 pm on 19 January.

Under the sale, new customers on Amazon will get free delivery on their first order. Users who own an HDFC credit or debit will be able to avail additional 10 percent instant discount on making purchases during the sale period. No-cost EMI options will be applicable on HDFC debit/credit card and Bajaj Finserv EMI cards. Amazon will provide exchange benefits on smartphones, TVs, AC and other consumer electronics during Great Indian sale.

The e-retailer has not shared any specific details on the upcoming deals and discounts it will offer during next week’s Great Indian sale. However, Amazon has mentioned that consumers will be able to bag discounts on smartphones from some of the popular brands including Apple, Samsung, OnePlus, Xiaomi among others. Considering the traditional season sale, the e-retailer is expected to tag decent discounts on popular budget and mid-range smartphones.

Additionally, prospective buyers will get special offers on Amazon brands and up to Rs 3,000 off on Amazon Echo, FireTV Stick and Kindle e-reader. With Amazon promoting women entrepreneurs, it will allow them to showcase office stationery and grocery items via their dedicated page Amazon Saheli, during the Great Indian sale.
