A spokesperson for the show has confirmed Brian has partially dislocated his shoulder, and damaged his rotator cuff.
The injury has meant Brian had to put an end to rehearsals just a day before his first live performance.
Bosses are yet to decide whether he will skate, with the situation needing reassessing on Sunday.
Pictures released by the show see Brian in the medical room, having his shoulder tended to by physiotherapist Sharon who works with the series.
She’s seen trying to manipulate his shoulder, with Brian appearing in pain.
The news comes after reports from The Sun Online that Brian had suffered a huge fall during training.
His skating partner Alex Murphy is said to have told the publication that Brian was anxious about the incident.
She said: “We had a fall, it was pretty bad.
“He was really anxious after that but I told him not to worry and hopefully it’s out of his system.”
It’s not sure whether the fall in question is the same incident that led to his injury.
Viewers will have to stay tuned to see whether Brian will be okay to perform.
